Visa Type:
There are many types of visas are available for India, such as tourists, Business, Medical, Transit, Employment, Student, etc. nariatravels.com provides consultancy support for tourists, Business, Medical, Transit, and Entry visas.
Visa Procedure:
All the visa applications in India are processed by the High Commission of India, Dhaka. But the High Commission of India, Dhaka has appointed an outsourcing agency The Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) for accepting Indian visa applications from Indian visa seekers (except for Diplomatic and Official passports) and to return the processed passports to the applicants IVAC’S has 15 branches all over in Bangladesh. Other foreign nationals can apply for the visa at the Indian Visa Application Centre- Dhaka (Jamuna Future Park) and at Indian Visa Application Centre, Chittagong. Applications are submitted on a walk-in basis. The applicant has to present in person during visa application submission. Any member of the family is allowed to submit visa applications & collect a passport on behalf of other members of the family subject to proof of identification by original passport. For this purpose family constitutes spouse, children, and parents.
Delivery of Passports: For delivery of passports may be collected on or after the delivery date which is mentioned in the receipt during the delivery time. In case of loss of receipt, the applicant needs to do General Dairy at the Local Police station. A passport will be delivered after submitting an original copy of General Dairy (GD), 1 photo with an application at the counter. NB: Delivery on authorization is not allowed

Documents Checklist:
Personal Documents:
· Duly filled Application form and signed by the applicant (if the applicant is a minor, the form must be signed by both parents or its legal guardian)
· Passport, in original, with a minimum validity of six months as on the date of submission of application for the visa. The passport should have at least two (2) blank pages. Copy of the passport (Page no 2 & 3) should be attached. All old passports must be submitted with the application form. If the immediate previous passport is lost then a G.D (English) copy for that passport is required.
· Two recent (not less than 3 months old) 2x2 (350x350 pixels) color photographs depicting a full face with white background.
· Birth certificate / National ID card copy.
· Utility Bill such as electricity, telephone, gas or water bill (not more than 6 months old)
· For Non-Bangladeshi applicants: Bangladeshi Residence Permit valid at least 3 months beyond the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States.
Professional Documents:
· For Business Person: Trade License (Trade license (renewal) require for proprietorship, Business agreement/deed copy if partnership business and memorandum of the article, certificate of incorporation if limited company), Company cover letter (explaining the purpose of visit and nature of business dealings), Tin, Tax certificate, IRC, ERC, LC, Dual party Agreement, Association certificate, etc.
· For Employee: NOC letter showing a period of contract, designation & monthly salary of the applicant, office ID COPY, Company cover letter (explaining the purpose of visit and nature of business dealings), Tin, Tax certificate, IRC, ERC, LC, Dual party Agreement, Association certificate, etc.
Financial Documents:
· Both company & personal bank statement & solvency certificate (original with bank seal and signature) for last 06 months
Overseas Documents:
· Business Invitation letter
· In case of participation in or visiting a trade/business exhibition/fair in India, details of the nature of participation and a copy of the invitation letter from the exhibition/fair authorities or Federation/Chamber concerned
Medical /Medical attendant Visas:

· Bank statement & solvency certificate (original with bank seal and signature) of last 06 months /Dollar endorsement (Endorsement should not be older than 1 (one) month at the time of submission)/Active international credit card / Travelcard.
Medical Documents:
- (i) Medical certificate, in original, from recognized hospitals/ doctors indicating in detail the medical condition of the patient
- (ii) Recommendation from the attending doctor for availing treatment abroad in case of the first visit
- (iii) recommendation from the attending doctor in India in case of continued treatment in India
- (iv) In case of hospitalization or long-term treatment, proof of financial resources, as indicated below, may be sought: (a) Bank statements for the last 6 months. (b) Solvency certificate from Bank.
The visa applications of dependents of business visa holders. Earlier they were supposed to select “Entry Visa”. Now they shall be required to select “Business Visa” while filling the application form. Parents/legal guardians of a minor child below 18 years of age who are coming on a student Visa to India may apply under the category Entry Visa while parents of the child above 18 years of age may apply for a Tourist visa for travel to India.
Note:
No visa is required for Diplomatic and Official Passport holders. Visa fees are waived for the regular or ordinary passport holder.
Visa Fee & Service Charge:
· There is no visa fee for Bangladeshi Nationals. But IVAC’S charge is Tk. 840

Short-term Single, Entry Visa: As like Tourist visas.
Long-term Multiple, Entry Visa: Like Tourist visa along with supporting documents (e.g., the letter from the school, the letter from an employer in India, etc.)
Transit Single Entry Visa: As like Tourist visa along with a copy of a confirmed ticket plus a visa for the third country and a copy of the Hotel booking.
Transit Double Entry Visa: As like Tourist visa along with a copy of a confirmed ticket plus a visa for the third country and a copy of the Hotel booking.
Note:
